Q1. Chelsea Home and Leisure brings such aesthetically pleasing products to the home and garden, could you provide us with an overview of the business and your ethos for our followers at ufurnish.com?
Thank you, here at Chelsea Home & Leisure we make our furniture stronger than our competitors by using high quality materials. These materials mean that our garden furniture lasts longer and can withstand the changeable British weather. Quality is one of our main focuses as is modern design. We also aim to make our seating more comfortable by using extra dense foams, this provides a comfortable seat and also leads to long lasting products.
Q2. 2020 threw your business a number of big challenges and you’ve moved quickly to grow online. Can you share some of those challenges with our members and how you’ve adapted your business for future trade and growth?
We put a lot of investment into going online in 2020. Prior to COVID we mainly attended large events such as The Ideal Home Show and Channel 4’s Grand Designs show. We built up our reputation through these large events with many customers coming back time and time again as well as encouraging their friends and family to buy from us. Now we’ve been placing our focus and efforts onto our online platforms and are building our following here as well as seeing our recurring customers interacting with us and shopping with us here. It’s been a great learning curve.
Q3. You produce a great range of stunning products which we know you design yourself, what do you think people will love most about the products you offer?
That’s a great question. I believe people will love the cutting edge, strong materials we use. For example, the ceramic used on our dining tables are scratch resistant and heat resistant which makes them extremely practical while also being stylish. I also think people will like the high quality finish and sleek designs that all our products offer.
Q4. What 3 top tips would you give to someone thinking about mixing things up in their home and garden?
We believe it's good to have variation in your home. It’s important to use a variety of materials and textures. A lot of our customers have both rattan furniture and teak garden furniture in their garden and it really does look stunning.
Q5. What’s next for Chelsea Home and Leisure, any big plans for the next 12 months?
We’re hoping to expand our indoor range of furniture and have a number of designs which we’re working on. Really excited to get these ready!
