It uses the same teakwood timber as the original design, but with a modern twist - replacing the natural cane with teakwood slats to protect them from all external factors such as rain, sun, snow, & ice. All the timber used is from reclaimed rafters of old demolished buildings & has a greater resistance to warping than naturally aired new timber.
