Asian Style Hummingbird Feeder/Oriole Feeder Red Cedar Outdoor Hanging

Our hummingbird feeder boasts an Asian-inspired design, featuring a 4 oz glass mason jar with a red top & yellow flower-shaped feeding holes. Feeder can also be used as an Oriole feeder by removing the lid. The smaller glass feeder offers superior temperature regulation compared to plastic feeders & ensures that the food is changed every other day, as recommended. The red color is highly effective in attracting hummingbirds. Additionally, it includes dowels for hanging your hummingbird feeder warmer (warmer not included) during winter feeding to prevent the sugar water from freezing. A mixture of one part sugar to four parts water is recommended, with no added coloring. You can use the 4 oz included jar by dropping in hole or use a larger mason jar (not included) by screwing the top onto the jar with the wood tray in between the lid & jar. Approximately 11.5 wide on the front & back, 6.5 wide from the sides x 8 tall with an additional approximate 9 inches for the hanging spire with loop. Please use soap & warm water to clean your feeder as needed with a soft cloth or soft brush. To further protect the appearance & to ensure maximum longevity of your item, I recommend applying Varathane's Ultimate Outdoor Spar Urethane Exterior Water Based Sealant to any part of your product exposed to the elements. This will ensure the wood is protected from moisture & heat & will maintain the appearance of your product for its lifespan. Please use the water-based version as this is safe for the birds. Cedar is ideal for outdoor use due to its weather resistance, yet it will naturally grey over time unless treated with a sealant. For those who prefer to maintain the original hue, applying a wood sealant to non-stained items is recommended. Cedar is a softwood characterized by its unique grains, knots, & markings.
