"Create a defined outdoor area with the Arbor Garden Solutions Rectangular Pergola and Decking Kit With Balustrades V.10, combining a pergola structure with a decking/base area and balustrades. Supplied with pre-cut components and step-by-step instructions, it is designed for a straightforward build, helping you form a level platform that links spaces in the garden or patio.
Posts are supplied at 2.7m and can be trimmed if required for a free-standing structure. The listed rectangular size reflects the total decking/base area rather than the pergola frame; the pergola is designed to span the full width and half the depth of the base, with a standard 45cm overhang on all sides. When planning layout and furniture placement, refer to these internal dimensions.

Treatment & maintenance
Please note that due to the inherent characteristics of natural timber, product colours may vary from those depicted.
Sweep regularly to remove leaves, dirt, and debris
Every few months, wash using mild soap and water with a soft-bristle brush
Avoid using pressure washers at high settings
Inspect at least once a year for loose screws, nails, or cracked boards; tighten fasteners and replace damaged boards as needed
Apply a wood sealant or stain every 1-3 years; if water sprinkled on the boards absorbs quickly, apply a new coat of sealant
Use rubber or felt pads under furniture legs to help prevent scratches
Keep planters elevated with stands to allow air circulation and help prevent trapped moisture
Choose breathable outdoor rugs that do not retain moisture
In winter, clear snow with a plastic shovel and avoid harsh de-icing salts
During summer, consider using a shade cover or pergola over the deck to reduce sun exposure
