Ceramic Plant Pot, Waterfall Blue Green, Handmade Pottery

Hand thrown from white stoneware clay at my home studio in Wokingham. This ceramic pot is glazed in several layers of colour that flow together to create the effect of cascading water. The underside & foot ring are unglazed, showing the natural colour & texture of the clay. Suitable for indoor use only Approx 11.5 cm across at rim & 8.5 cm high Do check out the matching pieces in my shop. Pieces are thrown on the wheel, finished by hand when they have partially dried, & bisque fired in the kiln to 950 degrees. I then glaze the pieces before firing them again to 1250 degrees. The process can take up to 4 weeks. I use lead free glazes & my work is dishwasher & microwave proof, although I recommend hand washing. No two pieces are ever the same, each item I make is unique & handcrafted, taking many hours to complete. Any imperfections reflect the unique quality of each handmade item.
