Green Winged Teal Decoy

A newly carved decoy created in the style of those made long ago by watermen whose livelihood depended on their craft & artistry to fashion an object that would function to achieve its purpose. The Green Winged Teal is one of the smallest ducks & one of the fastest flying This carving is aged with a patina to represent the appearance of a well used decoy that had been hunted over for many years. This is a decorative decoy & would not be suitable as a working decoy to be used for hunting. This Greenwing is shown in a relaxed pose as he would be in a comfortable situation.
