A special Eycatcher for your rooms! Product information: Size: 13,78 x 9,05 x 7,87 Zoll Box Dimensions: 16,53 x 12,60 x 12,99 Zoll Weight of the bust: only 1. 5 kg! Material: Biopolymer, natural-white semi-gloss, brushstroke optics THE ORIGIN OF THE BUST For the modelling of the bust the probably best known photo of Wilhelm Heinrich Schlers served us. It is also the only qualitatively sufficient photo which we could use. Without a frontal admission our artist had to reconstruct the facial form with experience & artistic understanding. Another bust is placed in the Petersstrasse in Bad Zwischenahn in front of the birthplace of Schler. in the end of the 1940s this piece of art was partially smashed & sunk in a pond. in 2007 the bust was rediscovered, rescued, restored & revealed within the celebrations to the 125th jubilee of the biochemical local association in Oldenburg. Also this bust shows Schler at advanced age, with his typical beard & a serious, stable expression. This also served us as an orientation, although the photo was decisive. With the bust we try to catch the very expressive, life-experienced personality of Schler. Who tried to put through new methods in the 19th century against the established doctrines, had to prove strong will & long breath. According to our opinion these are characteristic features which must be perpetuated in a bust by Schler. DR. WILHELM HEINRICH SCHSSLER (1821 Bad Zwischenahn - 1891 Oldenburg) Wilhelm Heinrich Schler studied medicines according to own information in Paris, Berlin & Giessen. 1857 he passed the state Check after he made up Abitur. He developed a therapy with homeopathically made salts. He found out that ther imbalance can cause illness. Dr. Schler called his method biochemistry because the chemical connections of the human biology are considered. in 1878 he wrote his central work A shortened therapy. Schler remained a bachelor up to his death. Because of the wish for gentle medicine the biochemistry according to Dr. Schler becomes more & more popular. I have brought everything determined by theory & practise about the molecular effect of the called 12 salts in a system, & I have given the name biochemistry' to my remedial method.
