This beautiful massive bronze sculpture is unique, no copy's will be made. The couple is holding each other's legs. The feet are fitting on each other, that makes the name. I am a perfectionist & take a long time to get everything so I want it. The two figures are in a real complicated position. Try this yourself The sculpture is about 15 cm.(6) long, 15 cm high & 6 cm. (2.4) wide. The weight is 1.8 kg. (4 pound), including packaging material, it unfortunately will not be send under 2 kg. The patina is dark brown, it is finished smooth & made shiny with bee wax. You can find a nice spot for this particular image . It can be a fantastic gift for someone you love very much. Making a bronze sculpture is a lot of work. You have to make a wax form first, you can use all kind of materials as long as it can burn. I like to use materials from nature. Making a mold is a very secure job. Then the mold is put in the oven for a long time. After cleaning, the mold it can be filled with red hot flowed bronze. When it comes out there is a lot of cleaning work to do. I did this process, except casting, myself, But now I have found a professional bronze caster who is bronzing my sculptures. It is hard work but very nice to do.
