The wood is dried in a kiln, then planed & sanded down really well to make the surface super smooth, which is great for when you're working, writing, doing some creative work, or just getting on with your day-to-day tasks. It comes with a monitor shelf that's propped up by 15cm supports. This height works well for your computer screen & speakers, & there's even a bit of space for a couple of small plants if you like having a bit of green around while you work. As standard, the monitor shelf will be as long as the length of your desk & 22cm. These dimensions can be customised if you need a specific size. The desk's steel legs are 71cm tall, so there's plenty of room for your legs, & it's a comfy height for your arms & shoulders when you're working. We finish the desk with a water based varnish that makes it resistant to water, stains, & heat. & because it's water-based, it's easy to look after & safe too - it's non-toxic & won't cause allergies. They don't compromise the desk's structural integrity. in fact, these unique features enhance the distinct character of each piece of furniture.
