Toadstool Cushion Cover - Mushrooms, Red & White, Free Motion Applique, Linen Amy Butler Cotton. 40cm/16

I made this colourful toadstool cover using free-motion applique. The forests around our house are full of these fairyland houses at the moment. The background of the front is pure cream linen. The toadstools are red & white quality cotton fabrics, appliqud with free motion embroidery. The reverse is100% cotton Amy Butler Lotus, in cherry red. It has an envelope closure so you can easily switch your cushions around. It is made to fit a 40cm / 16 square pillow (insert is not included). Due to the nature of the applique, it is recommended to wash the cover by hand, & dry flat. It can be ironed at a suitable temperature for cotton. The edges of the toadstools are designed to slightly fray over time, a characteristic of free-motion applique. The inner seams are overlocked / serged for added strength & a professional finish.
