Modern Octopus Batik Quilt, Blue-Green Patchwork Throw

This large modern lap quilt is warm & soft, & has so many uses. Everyone in your family (teens included) will use it for cuddling on the couch with a book or watching TV. How about a special wedding or anniversary gift? Did you know that the second anniversary gift is cotton - what could be a better gift than a gorgeous & unique cotton quilt? As a wall hanging, it will brighten any room. Usually I have a planned design for a quilt, but I had so much fun making this Octopus quilt with random blocks & basket-weave pattern. The octopus theme is complemented by a gorgeous blue/green stone batik, mini-hexagon green, mini-hexagon blue, soft mottled green, blue-toned dot, & just a bit of edgy gray fabrics. The backing is a soft & cozy mottled green flannel. Size: Approximately 54 x 54 All quilts are sewn from pre-washed premium cotton fabric, & are made with Warm & Natural (tm) cotton batting for lightness & warmth. I also make & machine stitch double binding for durability. All embroidery is done with polyester thread for color-fastness.
