Ibex 48

So far I've only created two Spanish Ibex wire sculptures I've ever made. one was exhibited at Westhaven Center for the Arts in California, & sold recently to a private collector. The other Spanish Ibex was commissioned for a lodge in the French Alps. It was an exciting project - I looked at so many photos of Ibex in the wild. So powerful, yet agile... bursting with grace & energy. Spanish Ibex is a bas relief sculpture... at first glance, it seems almost fully 3D. But it fits very closely to the wall, with the muscular shoulder & much of the head coming forth as much as 9 from the wall. The cloud effect, as the wires trail away from the body, gives it a ghostly, ethereal feel... this is something I find myself doing more & more nowadays. For this listing I've stated a 4 to 6 week processing time. If time is of the essence, I might be able to have another ready to ship in 3 to 4 weeks. Ibex 48
