Out Foxed - Installments Gladly Accepted

I felt it was time to be true to my descriptor-a menagerie of animated animals. To be a true menagerie requires the inclusion of various creatures. I have for some time now, concentrated on horses. This time though, my hero beast will be a red fox. However, I do have an affinity for horses, & even as my main subject varies; there is an equine sub theme. The fox rocks above, its legs galloping & tail flying as it bounds over the countryside well in advance of the hounds. Below on the base, a horseman, clad in his bright red coat, accompanied by several baying dogs, is routinely clearing a jump. Hidden within the fence line, is an un-noticed surprise. I call this piece Out Foxed. It is actually the counter point to my piece To Hounds. That piece features a dapple grey English Hunter above, with a peaceful fox reclining on the base below. in that piece the fox is winning too. Guess my penchant for the underdog is showing. As always, my Rocking R brand is to be found burned into the underside of the base. This piece is 30 from that base to tail top, & 37 from tail tip to whiskered snout. For those of you who followed Out Foxed progress from concept to completion, I hope you enjoyed the process. Thanks. Now on to my next challenge. This will truly be one for my menagerie, its going to be an EGG! My intention is to try & do several Rocking Nursery Rhymes. My first attempt will be Humpty Dumpty. See you soon.
