What a gift - a graduation date in a custom folded book to commemorate their special date. Celebrate graduates with a customized gift for commencement, this folded book will look amazing on their bookshelf! DO YOU CUT THE BOOKS? ????No pages are cut or glued, so the book is actually still readable (if one desires to unfold the pages!) & not destroyed. Books are salvaged from local sources & saved from being thrown away. ????Almost all of the books I use are vintage (pre-90s), so there may be a small amount of wear & tear, often at the corners of the book, or perhaps a slight yellow tint to the pages. If you'd prefer a new book, please contact me & we can create a custom order for you. The photo shows an example of a design using a specific date, but your book will vary from the photo. I usually have an assortment of colors available (covers are typically darker shades of red, blue, green, or brown) so if you have a color you'd prefer, please let me know. ????Some folks might choose a graduation date (for example 9-9-17, with small hearts in between the month-day-year), but you could also choose a date of someone's birthday or other special date. HOW TO ORDER You choose the date, up to eight digits. Included with the price are the two hearts in between the numbers, as shown. 1. Choose the number of digits from the drop-down menu. 2. Write the date in the personalization field. EX: 2-14-2027 ????????If you would prefer dots instead of hearts, let me know in the personalization field! SHIPPING ????The book is shipped wrapped lightly with tissue, & will relax a little after unwrapping & leaving to sit out upright on display. ????Books are shipped out within 3-5 days via Media Rate, but you can choose a quicker shipping method (with an additional fee) during the checkout process. SIZING Although most of the books measure about 5 x 8 (when closed normally, before folding), while on display they measures about 8-9 wide when opened up gently for display. (There is some flexibility with the book, so that it might sit comfortably with different widths while opened.) CARE Please handle books carefully, from opening them to dusting. Dust with a dry, soft cloth as needed, being gentle with the pages. Do not get wet. PLEASE NOTE: ????Marked as gift simply means there will be no receipt or invoice included with the item.
