This striking Wicked Witch of the West silhouette is printed on an antique dictionary page over 125+ years old. Every page is different so each piece is a unique one of a kind work of art. The dictionary page is from an antique dictionary of the English language printed in 1897. The actual printed page you will receive will be selected from the same set of antique dictionaries. Page size approximately 8x11 inches with slight variations. The set of dictionaries that I work with currently I found on the Free To A Good Home table at a local Friends of the Library sale. Published in 1897, this four volume leather bound set was very much out of date & in poor shape. Sadly, the books were destined for the ash heap of history (aka the local landfill.) I couldn't let them be destroyed & I hoped that others would love & appreciate their beauty as much as I did.
