Aloha! from Hawaii. Hawaiian language is amazingly beautiful & deep. I made these pillows from my experience of impressions of Hawaiian culture. :' + o .o: ALOHA means hello, good bye, & I love you... A lots of thoughtful meaning in this one word. Some Hula sisters say each letter has a meaning in ALOHA. A is Akahai which means is gentle, L - Lokahi is Unity, O is Olu'olu is compassion, H is Ha'aha'a is modest, & A is Ahonui is patient. ': .: ' : + . All words are an original typography design by me. I like to hand sketch & design the word because that already has an original vibration, & mana, which is spirit. I choose to use the organic form in the Hawaiian language. I learned how to quilt from Hawaiian tutu (grand mother) in Big island. So my all of pillows are hand stitched by me with Hawaiian Quilt technique. Notice: These pillows in the pictures are original samples, not for sale.
