A beautiful bas relief of a cicada. Hand cast & colored art tile Very realistic & detailed Classic, timeless desin These large ,impressive insects signal the end of summer where I live. Perhaps this explains the somewhat dark foreboding feel to this work, though of course, it's not the bug's fault ! From my original relief sculpture in soft clay, I made a mold. Into this mold I cast fine concrete. The concrete is color stained & a sealer applied. Suitable for indoors or out. There are hooks on the back to hang this sculpture like a picture.
