Fabulous Wall Decor Wall Hanging in Batik Fabrics ! Purples, Lime Greens, a little blue with a touch of some burgundy red in the thin first border. A beautiful combination of colors that are so alive. There is a ray of stars in the opposite corners to complete the loveliness. For this wall hanging I used a wonderful Rayon variegated thread for the front quilted stitching. The thread has a great luminous quality to it in a swirly design which I do freehand. For the back fabric I used a batik fabric in a blue purple combination & thread is a variegated rayon. The stitching stands out nicely both on the front & back of this wall hanging. For the double fold binding I used the batik fabric from the first border. For the batting I used Warm & Natural cotton. There is a hand sewn hanging sleeve sewn on the back. The size of this wall hanging is approximately 28 by 40. OOAK May be machine washed on medium warm & may be dried flat or low dryer setting. Medium heat iron.
