The reason for this, is, we found out that when you place your insert in & put your new pillow on the couch or wherever you want it be, the full wreath design shows better placing the wreath centered in left & right sides but the bottom part should be longer of about an inch from bottom seams than the top part because the bottom part of the wreath will be partly hidden if it's sewn centered in all sides. So don't be dismayed, get your pillow insert & place it inside your new pillow wreath cover & you will see what we are talking about. I want mine to be simple & organic, yet functional. I like it sturdy to last awhile & withstand the everyday wear & tear. All my pillows are either, zippered or with buttons because I do not like gaping inserts. I like mine shut & maintaining form. There is no additional cost to buttons, but zippers can be ordered if so desired for an additional fee of $5.00. BUTTONS MAY VARY. It may not always be the one that's pictured, but it will always be either coconut buttons, natural wood buttons or in white plastic & or buttons that fit the fabric used. My pillows could be 1 - .5 off the pillow insert measurement to ensure a perfect fit. All materials I used are washed to prevent shrinkage.
