Crow Cawing Bas Relief Sculpture

Hand painted cast hydrostone sculptured tile . Approximately 6x9 inches. A while ago I created a raven wallsculpture. This got me thinking about it's relative , the common crow. When I was a kid , a girl in our neighbourhood owned a pet crow which she'd raised from a chick. It followed her everywhere, particularly to local baseball games, where it would sit on the fencing & make comments throughout the game. It could actually say words, like a parrot, & would shout out sometimes appropriately. This sculpture took me back to those days. I 'm really pleased with how this work turned out. It depicts a moment of 'energy transformation' , if you will. That unmistakable sound . Signed on the back, with hooks to hang up like a picture.
