The houses have an old & rustic look, they have a lot of cracks that I highlighted with dark manganese oxide. The roofs are painted in different glazes & ceramic colors. On the shore there's a little ceramic bird, a white dove- a symbol of peace. The trees are not painted, except for their tops which are glazed with a lovely metallic green glaze.
