Hand Quilted Fish Wall Hanging, Nursery Decor

Bring on the dazzle with this bright quilted fish wall hanging! It measures 11 across by 10 1/2 long. Perfect unique snappy beach decor or a zippy, joyous wall accent for a nursery or playroom. Bright matching fabric blocks form a frame around the happy fish center panel. The main fish figures in the center have outline quilting & straight & diagonal lines enhance the border. The purple binding is double fold bias tape to add contrasting zip to the overall effect of the piece. The binding was sewn to the front by machine & hand stitched to the back. The backing is classical off white muslin & the inner layer is cotton batting which adds some loft to the wall hanging but keeps it lightweight. A horizontal sleeve for the insertion of a hanging rod or dowel has been added to the top of the back of this little quilt. This pictured quilted wall hanging is ready to ship but I might also be able to make a similar custom one for you, depending on the availability of appropriate fabrics.
