This bear cub wire sculpture is made from a continuous 16 gauge steel wire strand & attached to a unique driftwood base. Height: 4 inches, Width: 6.5 inches, Depth: 3 inches Sculpting with wire allows me to define form & imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize & develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied. My work reflects my love of the natural world, & my methods are also kind to the environment. I avoid using paints & solvents & try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
