Abstract Perspex Embroidery

I cut my models on acrylic glass ( Perspex, Plexiglas) & timber veneer. Each of them is unique: even when two works look similar, the small components or the embroidery will be different. I love to experiment with new beautiful thread & stitching patterns. Most of my designs look their best when exposed to intense light which creates interesting shadows. They look really good in reality but they are very difficult to photograph. I shoot them under different lights & angles & try to take the reflections proper of the material's glossy nature. This model is cut from clear & tinted acrylic glass & is hand embroidered with cotton yarn. It comes framed with a simple white frame which gives instant presentation & extra protection to the artwork from accidental impacts during the trip. Dimensions in cm - width 13, height 18 - Dimensions in inches: width 5, height 7 - Total dimension including the frame: 7 x9 inches or 18x23 cm My models should be mounted indoors & away from heavy traffic, where there is no risk of accidental impacts.
