Many people associate the bold bright colors that are seen in the Andes Mountains today with their pre-Hispanic ancestors but the reality is that the colors & designs that were used by the Inca were more subtle. The weavings that they created were often minimalistic & would be just as at home in a modern art gallery as on a museum wall. We have done our best to faithfully represent the original designs & colors in a way that does the original Peruvian items justice.
