The Magic lamp, exclusively available here, is an award winning original design, based on the form of the 'magic' mushroom Psilocybe Semilanceata, better known as the Liberty Cap. This fungus is found in meadows throughout Europe, & is renowned for its magical & healing powers. Each lamp is not just functional, but a unique, collectors piece of wood sculpture, handmade, signed & dated on the underside of the base, by me the creator. The pearl white head is 3D printed using a natural corn based biodegradable plastic (PLA). With the light shining through it, the spiraling, concentric lines created by the layering of material in the 3D printing process are highlighted, complementing the natural, unique grain of the wood. The gills of the mushroom head & logo on the steel base are also 3d printed. The hardwoods I offer are Oak, Beech, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Plum, & Ash, all sourced from local managed forests here in South Bohemia, Czechia. I finish each lamp with a durable & ecological Shellac & Bee's wax finish, which produces a shiny surface. If you would like a matt finish (with Teak oil) just please leave a note with your order. The Technical's Each lamp has a 1.8m braided textile cable, in black or white, matching the color of the steel base, see options. They come wired with a switch, & a plug for your region & work on 110v(US) & 220v. Made for standard E14 & E12 LED screw fitting candle bulbs, corn bulbs, & some smart & remote control bulbs. One 220v (Europe/UK/Australia) or 110v (US, Canada) 6W soft white regular bulb is included with each lamp. These have a 20,000 hour lifetime. The interchangeable E14 (220v) or E12(110v) fitting means that a wide variety of bulbs can be used, as long as they are not more than 10 cm (4 inches) long. You are welcome to contact me for advice types of bulbs, which will be given according to your region. in Europe, for a colour changing bulb, I recommend the Osram candle E14 RGBW dimmable & remote control bulb, which fits perfectly. Multiple lamps can be controlled with these, from one controler. If you would like these, I can include them in the package with the lamp (please contact me) . For orders placed from the US & Canada, please contact me for advice on these (I also stock colour changing bulbs for these regions). Smart bulbs: For 220v countries (most countries in the world excluding Canada, the US, & Mexico) I reccomend The Philips Hue lustre P45 E14 bulb, or LVWIT E14 WiFi Smart LED Bulb, P45 470Lm. There are smart bulbs available for 110v countries, just search for the same bulbs above, but instead of an E14, look for E12, or please contact me for the options available. Gift wrapping is available & can be selected in your basket. Size & Customisation The standard height of a Magic Lamp is between approximately 58.5 cm (23.5 inches). I can also make them to custom heights, & when grouped together the best effect is achieved with a range of different heights. Just add a note to your order or message me to request custom sizes.
