Geometric Abstract Art

I cut my models on acrylic glass ( perspex, plexiglass) & timber veneer. Each of them is unique: even when two works look similar, the small components or the embroidery will be different. I love to experiment with new beautiful thread & stitching patterns. Most of my designs look their best when exposed to intense light which creates interesting shadows. They look really good in reality but they are very difficult to photograph. I shoot them under different lights & angles & try to take the reflections proper of the material's glossy nature. This model is cut from white & tinted acrylic glass. The back board is hand embroidered & the small curved components are stitched on it with cotton yarn. The white panel is then stitched on the transparent orange frame. It comes framed with a simple white box frame 14.5 x 12 x 1.7 inches (37.5 x 30.5 x 4.5 cm) This is an easy size to ship & the frame will protect the artwork from accidental impacts during the trip. I am not sending the glass panel which should close the frame because it may break during the shipping, but of course you can easily fit a new one.
