Handcrafted in the village of Tamegroute in southern Morocco, this distinct pottery is the result of a centuries-old tradition passed down through just seven artisan families. Each piece is shaped by hand & fired in ancient earthen kilns, where placement in the flames determines its rich, unpredictable finish. The signature green glazeranging from olive to emeraldis made from a blend of local manganese, copper, & clay, giving every item its own one-of-a-kind tone & texture. No two are ever the same. Cracks, drips, kiln marks, & surface irregularities are not flawsthey're the heart of Tamegroute.
