Peter's Feeders S-11 Sunflower/All Purpose Feeder has been popular for as long as we've been in business...30 years now! It was the very first bird feeder we designed & with improvements made over the years it is still a favorite bird feeder for wild bird feeding enthusiasts all over the country. As with all of our feeders, we construct them from a heavy 1/8 thick impact resistant plastic designed for outdoor use. The S-11 has 6 feeding stations as well as a generous tray at the bottom for dropped seeds. The seed tray also serves as a feeding platform for some of the larger birds who will frequent this feeder (Cardinals, Grosbeaks, & Woodpeckers to name a few). Although we prefer using Black Oil Sunflower Seed because of its high nutritional content, the S-11's specially designed interior seed baffles on all 6 feeding stations allow you to use any sized seed you desire. Another feature of this feeder is that the body of the S-11 is highly reflective & you will see reflections of the birds using the feeder as well as colors from your yard & garden. The easy lift up top makes filling this feeder a snap. We highly recommend this feeder to increase the numbers & varieties of birds who will visit your yard.
