Limestone Cream - 192 cm 67 cm 100% British Rare Breed Double Sheepskin Rug Handcrafted here in our Somerset workshop, this beautiful Limestone Cream double sheepskin rug is a quietly striking piece, full of natural character & softness. Made from 100% British sheepskin, each skin has been carefully sourced from UK flocks & tanned here in the South West. We then painstakingly hand-match, sew & finish the skins all in-house, laying out many at a time to find those that sit just right in tone, texture & flow. An unusually coloured fleece that reveals more character the longer you look at it. At first glance it appears almost entirely ivory, but beneath the creamy sheepskin fur sits a distinctive grey underfleece that gradually becomes more apparent. These sought-after grey tones create a beautiful sense of depth & movement throughout the rug, giving it a far more interesting appearance than a traditional cream sheepskin. With a generous length of 192 cm 67 cm, this is a wonderfully versatile double, perfect draped over a chair, laid beside the bed, or used as a statement piece in a living space. The fleece is beautifully dense & tactile under hand, offering that signature sheepskin warmth while remaining breathable & comfortable all year round.
