Individual & lovingly handmade single sided printed cushion, complete with a super comfy duck feather cushion pad. - Made in England - Cushion consists of a vintage screen printed cotton front & a luxurious 100% cotton black velvet backing. The velvet is matte with a fairly flat pile. This 'Spinners' printed fabric was designed in 1950 by British textiles designer Mary Warren for 'Heals Fabric Ltd' of London. Printed with a geometric pattern of spheres & diamonds, suggestive of bobbins & winders. The fabric is original vintage 1950s, previously uncut until now. Produced from 1950-55. Printed on 100% cotton in bold red, black & white - it is both decorative & functional! To find this fabric uncut with the selvage still attached, was a rare find! The fabric it's self is in excellent condition with no flaws or fading. The fabric has recently been washed. The fastening of the cushion is a hidden black plastic zip on the bottom seam. All edges of the fabric on the inside have been finished to a high standard to avoid any fraying. Complete with crisp corners! There are 8 of these cushions available - each measuring 52cm. Each cushion is of a different section of the repeat. Both very similar with a very slight variation in design. Care Instructions - The cover should be hand-washed only. Remove the inner before doing so. Do not tumble dry. Air dry only. The cushion inner - Luxury duck feather & 100% cotton. Anti dust & non allergenic. Machine washable at 40 degrees celsius.
