Chippewa (Ojibway) inspired Manitou Sculpture or Totem. Hand carved & assembled from local Basswood, Butternut, hand painted, fur, leather, beads, feathers, etc. Approximately 22 inches tall. Numbered edition of 100, & signed by artists Kevin & Tanner Gadomski. The Northern Harrier, also known as a Marsh Hawk, is a totem of Determination, Persistence, Force Of Will. A lot like Edison, he's hunting energy. Though his quarry may elude him time & again, eventually he will get what he's after. Harrier is easily identified by his style of flying low over open fields & his owl like face as well as the broad band of white on his tail. Medicine symbols indicate that this is a creature who is comfortable in both the physical & the spiritual worlds. His animal helper is the Raven.
