Hand sewn cushion cover made from a piece of Morris's Daffodil design from the Queens Square Collection by Ben Pentreath. Ben Pentreath has taken the distinctive daffodils that grace this design & pumped up the colour! Created by John Henry Dearle c.1891, the original drawing survives & can be seen at the William Morris Gallery in London. Scaled down slightly & produced on a cotton/linen cloth, the Dark Olive colourway is utterly magical with its bright, almost electric blue ground & eye-catching teal detail ( quote from the William Morris, website ). It has been piped in a matching teal green & there is a choice of fabrics available for the reverse. All the seams have been double sewn & four stitched overlocked for strength. It has a concealed zip beneath the piping on the reverse for ease of opening. Design placement will vary. Dry clean only I can custom make this design in your own personal choice of a different coloured piping. Colours available : Red, apple green, dark green, hot pink, dark pink, cream, beige, gold, orange, turquoise, light blue, royal blue, purple, black & grey.
