This is hand hammered copper - made on my anvil It can sit on a shelf ... or a counter ... or hang on the wall ... & it could hold your ladies scarves by the front door, or your keys, or both, whatever you please (note that it has 2 hooks built into the script for exactly that purpose) Overall it is approx 23 inches long. The L is 7 inches high & 11 inches long, & most of the copper is hammered to about 1/4 inch wide in most places. Small, handmade copper hangers (qty 2) are provided for the L & the ove has it's own (also qty 2). They can be placed quite discretely as they are minimal & only require a small nail (I guess you could then paint the head of the nail brown with a brown sharpie or nail polish & it would blend right in) This custom art piece has been waxed already with Renaissance Wax Polish but it can be removed upon request if you plan to let the copper age naturally or if you plan to get the copper to achieve a verdigris patina with salt & vinegar FYI...Renaissance Wax Polish is an acid free & PH neutral man-made micro-crystalline protective wax used to protect metal, wood, paper, old photographs, leather, glass, polymer clay, steel tools, marble & pretty much any other material you can imagine - developed by conservators to protect exhibits at the British Museum & is used by conservators around the world.
