This is a medium-sized one-of-a-kind model of our super popular log hanging bird feeder & it holds about 3 cups of seed! We have been making this bird feeder for close to 18 years & have made many chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, house finches, goldfinches & other birds very happy. General care info: Get ready to be mobbed by your local bird population! ~ Take your bird feeder home, tip with opening facing up to fill with seed (we recommend black oil sunflower), enjoy the birds! No other care is needed. ~ Please note the feeder sides may open up a bit with changes in humidity, & cracks will appear on the ends of the feeder over time. These changes are normal, & since the ends are nailed in place, will not affect functionality. ~ The chain can be unclipped on one side for putting over a tree limb, etc. Please note, all feeders are one of a kind & will vary slightly.
