How much material can I get from a leather hide is a great question & depends mostly on its size. The industry standard for a 45-50 sq ft upholstery hide is a minimum of 3 cuts or panels of 27 x 27 (see photos). While panels can often be combined for much larger cuts, this is not guaranteed & if larger cuts are needed, please contact us before purchasing. A panel can have subtle natural markings including finished brands but no holes, gauges, or breaks in the finish.
