Ebony & Yellowheart Checkerboard Handmade Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle

Ebony is getting prohibitively expensive, but about a year ago we used one of our last pieces & a slice of yellowheart to make a block of checkerboard. Laminating small patterns like this is heartbreaking because more than half the wood is lost as sawdust while cutting the laminations, & another third slicing it up into puzzle blanks. Most of the block has been used, but we had this piece left over & made a puzzle with a modified square pattern. It's 7/8 x 3 x 1/4 & has eighteen pieces, sanded to 2000 grit & finished with wax.
