Father Dagon Approaches, A Hand-Painted Lovecraftian Bas-Relief

From out of the sea, dread Dagon rises, approaching what appears to be a quiet Mediterranean or Near Eastern town on the rocky shore. Woe betide the poor fisher-folk, & their surviving family, in this generation, & all to come. This bas-relief was the first I made to photograph for my Lovecraftian calendar, in the early experiments, & was the only one I painted. It is mounted on a rustic plank, 9' wide & a little more than 7 tall, so all this detail is minute! I really love that little, doomed town. I need to make more of those. This is an original, handmade, unique work. If you hang this on your wall, & gaze at it intently every day for just the right number of days, the sea will come to you, & strange gold.
