Bright & cheerful traditional rag rug. The rugs are made using traditional wooden tools for prodding the fabric through the Hessian backing & for measuring & cutting the individual pieces of fabric to the right size. The strips of fabric are tightly packed for a lovely soft & substantial feel. The bedside rug measures 42cm x 70cm. Smaller or larger items can be made on request. The rugs can be machine washed & care instructions will be included. The fabric used for the rugs is from re-cycled clothes, bedding or curtains, weaved into pretty stripes of colour in the finished rug. If you have any fabric at home that is precious to you, for example children's baby clothes, & would like to create a 'memory rug,' then you can send me the fabric to make a unique keepsake.
