Spice up your home with some floor art! Why settle for a rug that look blaaa in your home? Don't settle for ordinary, brighten a room & bring it to life with a handwoven cotton rug. The rug is a bit darker than it appears in the photo, particularly the greige color. measures 18 x 29 rugs are about 1/4 thick. The weft & warp yarn are both American spun cotton. The weft yarn is washed, rinsed, hand-dyed & washed again. This yarn is a bulky natural cotton. Due to the nature of the spun cotton, some burs remain in the yarn. This is the same type of yarn used to make mop heads. Thick & durable! The warp is natural ivory colored cotton. What makes white Wave different/better? Each rug is hand crafted with care on a four shaft vintage loom. My looms do not plug in, nothing I make is mass produced on a electric operated or computer loom. I double the warp thread to make the rug stronger & more durable for a long lasting use. I use yarn that is absorbent & durable great for in font of sinks, bathtubs & doors. The fringe is tied in a double knot, which is decorative & beautiful but also keeps the fringe from tangling together when washed. All rugs are reversible. & YES, they are machine washable....they must fit them easily into your machine. If you get your arm stuck trying to jam them in the washer, you may want to find a alternative way to clean it. Try spot cleaning or beat it outside with a broom & although that seem kind of mean, don't worry, they can take it. Like the rug pattern but not so sure about the colors? Click on the drop box to the right of the photos & choose the pick your own colors for a commissioned version of this rug. Choose your colors from the last photo & make a notation under notes of the three colors you want. I will forward you an mock-up design for conformation before I begin. Colors may vary slightly for photo. If you have concerns regarding color please contact me. Some colors are missing from the list including pink, yellow & orange. The time frame for completion may also vary depending on my workload. I will give you a time frame with the mock-up. 18x30 rugs take no less than three days to complete.
