The pictures fairly represents & colour & patina but wood, & particularly reclaimed wood varies in patina, grain & level of weathering. There will be different rustic imperfections on each bench. Our reclaimed wood range is carefully designed to emphasise the inherent beauty of original reclaimed timber, which by nature is very rustic & imperfect. We love this! The wood we work with to create this bench is reclaimed wood, in which history is visible. & thanks to this, the wood acquires a rustic character, creating unique details. These details are: cracks, nail holes, dents, unevenness, discoloration (rust), saw marks. Wood is a natural material that loves to adapt to its surroundings, it is about air humidity & temperature, i.e. wood shrinks & expands subtly, & this means that certain perfectly imperfect details on wood may change their size as & shape, as well as new ones can be created. The beauty of wood is unique & unrepeatable, each piece of wood is different, no other piece is identical. That is, each bench will differ in the shade of wood, the tone of the wood, its structure, number & size of knots, as well as those perfectly imperfect details.
