This is a fun easy project to make that is fat quarter friendly. A modern twist on the popular spool quilt. The pattern has full instructions & diagrams & it is easy to make the quilt top in a weekend. Simple piecing, with some half square triangles on the spool tops, suitable for an advanced beginner. So choose a set of fat quarters, ( Minimum of seven for best results) grab some solid yardage for background & lets have some fun with spools. Y You can even make a matching pillow like I did with this basic block, its such fun & so easy. A bonus spools pillow pattern included in digital download.
