My hand-painted map centers on the Altes Museum & the Spree River & includes the eastern portion of the Tiergarten on the western edge of the map area & the Volkspark Friedrichshain on the east. Berlin's tragic & redemptive story is written all over the city, from pockmarked old buildings to new architecture of the 21st century, from the grand monuments to the humble memorials. The city plan is carved out by the River Spree & canals. My sketch of a river view, with the dome of the Berlin Cathedral, rests along the bottom of the piece. This is a PRINT of my original watercolor painting in tones of blue, from deep phthlalo blue to brighter cerulean. Prints available in multiple sizes: A2 (shown in photo, framed) 8 x 10 11 x 14 12 x 15 15 x 18 16 x 20 17 x 20 Except the A2 Print which is on lightly textured watercolor paper, All prints on Epson archival coated paper. Print have a border so no mat is required - just pop it in the frame of the same size & hang! If you'd prefer a square print, just purchase the size that matches the width you'd like, leave a note at checkout to make it square & I will make it square!
