A blanket that you can give to yourself or to your loved ones. We love our mountains & forests & that is why our wool is processed WITHOUT any chemical substances or softeners. This makes our production 100% sustainable & environmentally friendly. This also preserves the valuable wool fat in our blankets. Organic wool is naturally hypoallergenic, breathable & heat-regulating. Furthermore, the wool is also 100% biodegradable. Our wool comes from our own sheep & sheep from the immediate neighborhood. Environmentally friendly & not transported here by ship from the other side of the world. We do everything traditionally, just as our grandmothers used to prepare the wool for their blankets - first washed several times in crystal-clear mountain water, dyed, & then spun. Did you know that the blanket can absorb 30% of its own weight in moisture without getting wet & then release it, so that a balance is always maintained? The wool is also odor & stain resistant, so you won't need to wash your blanket very often. However, we recommend that you hang the blanket outside in the fresh air regularly. You can also do this when the air outside is humid. This way, your blanket will be washed, so to speak. If the time comes when your blanket does need to be washed, we recommend washing it either by hand in cold water or in the washing machine using a gentle wool program at a maximum of 30oC. Please always use a special detergent for wool. Furthermore, you should not wring out the blanket, but roll it up & squeeze out the remaining water. Do not hang wet, dry lying down! If you don't need the blanket & put it in the closet, add lavender sachets or cedarwood. If you have a walnut tree in your garden, you can also let its leaves dry, pack them in small packages, & place them between the blankets.
