Wood Candle Holders

Made from a Douglas fir 4x4, this candleholder set of 3 gives the room an elegant & rustic feel. Starting with a 10' 4x4, I chop away at the corners with an axe to find random shaping. I then smooth the contours with a chainsaw wheel on the angle grinder, & sand it with 60 grit & 80 grit with the belt sander. It's also sanded with 60 & 80 grit with an orbital palm sander. I torch & char the wood, & scrub it with a steel wire brush. I then cut the sets of 3 to lengths of 3, 4.5, & 6, & drill the holes for each tea light candle. Each end grain is then sanded, torched, & scrubbed with the wire brush, I scrub everything one more time to get all the soft charred wood out from between the hard grains. This produces a wonderful texture that adds a ton of character to the candle holder & the room you decide to put them in. This is a set of 3. I have numerous colors (rose, aqua, barn red, antique white, sunbleached, weathered grey, & worn navy), but each set will only be one color. Check other listings to mix & match colors.
