A large Nautilus wall planter air planter. Our large nautilus is a stunning wall planter. An air plant fits snugly into the mouth of the Chambered Nautilus. Create your sea wall & make an aquatic wonderland, collect all our sea creatures. We have urchins, octopus, squid & sea stars to go your sea wall. The air plant is included in the purchase & it slips inside the planter. It is aprox. 5 round & is lightweight. The air plant snugly fits in the mouth of the nautilus. There is a hole in the back of the nautilus for easy hanging on the wall. To water the plant, you just take the plant out. swish it in water, shake it out well & place back into the nautilus. The nautilus was hand thrown, altered, sculpted, painted & then bisque fired. It was then glazed & high fired. It is quite durable, & food safe. Lead is never used in our glazes. Your purchase will come with instructions on how to take care of your air plant. It is makes a whimsical gift to any age, for any occasion. Air plants are easy to take care of & they do not need to be planted. They thrive at the office, at home, in a bright bathroom, even on sheltered porches. They like bright, filtered light, avoid direct sunlight. They like good air circulation. The like humid climates, & should be soaked 2-3 times a week, spray between soakings. The like the temp to be between 45-95. Use 1/4 strength orchid fertilizer once a month from Mar-October.
