Kitchen Island With Drop Leaf Extension

This piece is a drop leaf kitchen island with a painted base. The base & top are made of solid hard maple & the base is painted with a high quality sprayed on enamel finish. The example picture is painted meander blue but you can select any color of your choice at no addional charge. The drop leaf flips up for additional seating along with seating under either end of the island. You can comfortable sit 3 people at this piece with the drop leaf up. The top is a butcher block finish cutting surface that has been finished with a food grade mineral oil. The piece measures 36 inches tall 40 inches wide & 23 inches deep with the leaf down. If the leaf is in the up position the top is 32 inches deep. There is a shelf 8 inches off the floor & a 4 inch tall drawer. This product is constructed using all traditional joinery. The drop leaf supports are wood slider supports that provide an extremely sturdy support that does not get in the way of seating. Free shipping for east coast only.
