This delightful yellow figure will add just the right amount of color to your home & a touch of love to your heart! I usually have a general idea of what I want to make when I start sculpting & then during the process the piece takes it's own shape & form & the personality develops! Made with white clay with 1% grog to enhance the texture. Hand painted with copper oxide which I then remove, leaving just elements of the color. I then paint with engobes & fire to 1,186 degrees in my kiln. After the 2nd firing I painted a heart with 8% gold lustre & into the kiln again for a third firing !
