Children's linen cushion with bird motif. Dyed & then sewn by hand, these Piou cushions are unique! Pink, blue, green & yellow, these 4 small linen cushions in pastel colors will decorate a child's room in a soft & natural way. Made from 100% linen & available in four colors, these cushions have been dyed with plant-based dyes: - blue: Dyers' Indigo (Indigofera tinctoria L.) - pink: Dyers' madder (Rubia tinctorum L.) - yellow: Dyer's mignonette (Reseda luteola L.) - sea green: Dyers' Reseda (Reseda luteola L.) & Dyers' Indigo (Indigofera tinctoria L.) The designs are hand-embroidered. The inner cushion filling is also made by me. Please note: Piou cushions are fragile & decorative items. They are not suitable for babies or children under 3 years old, to avoid any risk of accidents (suffocation, for example). Machine wash: cold - delicate cycle - with liquid detergent (preferably Marseille soap, no powder detergent with bleaching agents, no bleach, no chlorine, no fabric softener); I recommend putting the cover on the right side in a pillowcase closed with a drawstring. Hand wash: in lukewarm water with Marseille soap, brush very lightly, but do not leave to soak in the water for too long. - drying: do not tumble dry, do not dry in direct sunlight but rather indoors. - the filling of the covers is provided (washable synthetic padding treated against dust mites; these polyester & cotton fibers come from the recycling of production scraps). These items are unique, handmade pieces; irregularities related to this practice may highlight their authentic & natural character. The plant dye itself remains vibrant & delicate, & changes significantly over time. For your information, there are no post-dyeing treatments (e.g., fixative, etc.), everything remains natural; the color may develop a slight patina over time. in direct sunlight for a long period of time, it will fade.
