A walk in an 18th Century church full of beautiful murals inspired this pattern. The vegetable dyes really mimic the patina & earthy colors of the murals. Handmade of 100% 15 ply cotton. Rug Care : 1. We recommend that rugs are always used with a nonslip underlay. This will prevent the rug from sliding or slipping on hardwood or stone floors. 2. Rugs should be regularly brushed or hovered with a suction-only appliance to prevent the build-up of damaging dust & grit. 3. Rugs should also be turned occasionally to prevent wear & tear. Hovering the back of the rug every now & again will keep dust-free. 4. Use casters under heavy furniture & sharp pointed feet. 5. Excessive direct sunlight can cause fading. Rotate & reverse to gain a subtle even fade. Washing Spot clean with gentle soap. Do not wash in a washing machine. If a deeper clean is desired, simply hose, scrub & hang to dry. If the fringes are a little dirty, they can be cleaned without the entire rug being washed. However, to renew the appearance of your rug, we recommend using a professional cleaning service.
